OCTH 721 - Neurological Foundation of Occupation 4 cr hrs
Description The student will apply knowledge of neurological theory, neuroscience, and neuro-occupation to the occupational therapy process. The student will learn to identify functional cognitive, affective, sensory, perceptual, motor, and visual limitations as they relate to occupational performance. Practical laboratories and video case studies will be used as examples of how occupational engagement is affected by neurological insult and how engagement in occupation produces neurological change.
Notes Registration restriction: Must be an Occupational Therapy major.
