DSCI 727 - Quality and Six Sigma Management

Description This course addresses the use of quality management theories and practice to provide the knowledge and tools to pursue continuous improvement of quality. Topics include the basic quality tools, advanced statistical process control, process and gauge capability, design of experiments, and six sigma. An emphasis is placed on the practical application of quality tools within a lean management framework.

Prerequisite: BADM 220 or BADM 520 (or equivalent) and BADM 425 or 525 (or equivalent)
