David Posthumus, Ph.D., Indiana University. Specialization: Native American Studies, Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology, Ethnohistory.

DEGREE

Native Studies courses support many majors graduate degree programs.

Although USD does not offer a graduate degree in Native Studies, students in a variety of graduate programs may take Native Studies coursework. A background in Native Studies is useful for all graduates preparing for careers in Education, Law, History, Anthropology, English, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Social Work, Sociology, Media, Journalism, Medicine, and other health sciences.
