Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies
The University of South Dakota offers several graduate degrees that are highly interdisciplinary in nature, and are therefore administered directly through the Graduate School rather than a single college and school.
The Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies program began in 1977. It is designed primarily for, but not limited to, non-traditional students who would like to develop their own program of study. The students self-design a curriculum in tandem with their advisor to best suit their educational goals and learning needs.
