Paramedic Specialization (43 hours) Optional

The Paramedic Specialization is optional, however, students wishing to add the specialization must:

have instructor/Health Sciences permission due to the need for certification requirements (BLS for healthcare provider and EMT-B certification)
be admitted to the Sanford Paramedics Program
meet the degree requirement of completing a minimum of 30 credit hours at the 300- and 400-level.
