English Double Major

30 HOURS
Students who meet the requirements for a double major in another department may earn a double major in English by completing 30 hours of ENGL or LING in addition to ENGL 101 and 210 or UHON 110. Specifically, the double major requires ENGL 284 and 489 in addition to three courses from 221, 222, 241, and 242. (ENGL 489 is optional for students who satisfy the regental exit requirement in their other major.) Of the total 30 hours, at least 12 must be at the 400 level.
