Disaster Response Minor

Minor Requirements (15 hours)

• PSYC 255 - Introduction to Disaster Response
• PSYC 256 - Psychological First Aid
• PSYC 258 - Children and Trauma
• PSYC 359 - Practicum in Disaster Response
• PSYC 456 - Introduction to Disaster Psychology

Note

Students pursuing the Minor in Disaster Response must maintain a “B” average in courses applied to the minor and successfully complete both a capstone exercise and an assessment of problem solving. The Disaster Response Minor is not available to those who are majoring in Psychology or who are pursuing the Area of Specialization in Disaster Response within the Psychology Major.
