Guest artists or experts may serve as instructors. Enrollments are usually of 10 or fewer students with significant one-on-one student/teacher involvement.

  • WMST 496 - Field Experience (C)


    Applied, monitored and supervised, field-based learning experience for which the student may or may not be paid.  Students gain practical experience; they follow a negotiated and/or directed plan of study established between the student, instructor and field experience supervisor. Due to the presence of a field experience supervisor, a lower level of supervision is provided by the instructor in these courses than is the case with an internship or practicum course.

  • XDIS 310 - The Challenge: Success and Happiness


    Students will examine two of life’s most significant issues through discussion, research, writing, group projects, and service-learning in this active-learning, technology-enhanced course.

    Prerequisites and Corequisites
    Prerequisites: Must complete one of the following: SPCM 101, SPCM 215 or SPCM 222. Must complete one of the following: ANTH 211, CJUS 202, ENGL 201, ENGL 205, ENGL 283, ENGL 284, SOC 211 or UHON 211. Must have 64 credit hours completed or in progress.
