PHTH 736 - CARDIOVASCULAR/ PULMONARY PHYSICAL THERAPY 5 cr hrs
Description This course is a required course for the Year II physical therapy student. It is designed to develop mastery skills in the areas of cardiac and pulmonary physical therapy. The student will learn evaluation and treatment procedures for individuals with a diagnosis or primary or secondary cardiac/pulmonary disorders.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre - requisite: Registered in Professional Physical Therapy Curriculum
Notes Emphasis will be placed on physiologic response to exercise, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and health promotion and wellness in the areas of cardiovascular pulmonary physical therapy.
