PHTH 784 - EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE IN PHYSICAL THERAPY 1 cr hrs
Description This course is an introductory course in evidence-based practice. Students will become proficient in database search techniques to enable them to select the best evidence to guide all aspects of clinical practice. This course is intended to enable students to utilize the best available research and integrate it with clinician expertise and client characteristics in order to improve the quality of clinical decision making.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: Successful completion of all classes in the first semester of the transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy, PTH 718, PHTH 720 and PHTH 782.
Co-requisites: PHTH 722 and PHTH 735
