PHTH 787 - RESEARCH PROJECT IN HEALTH SCIENCES

Description This course is an advanced course in research methodology and design, which builds upon OCTH 786/PHTH 786 Research Proposal Course in Health Sciences. This course typically occurs in the fall and Spring semesters of the second year of the professional program. It is an interdisciplinary course designed to foster collaborative research activities and encourage publications. Teams of 1-4 students work closely with individual faculty members on projects identified by faculty from both disciplines. Students are evaluated on their research activities oral presentations, and final written product. Graduate students in other programs on campus may enroll in this course with special permission. Prerequisites: HSC 780 Basic Research Design and Statistics and OCTH 786/PHTH 786 Research Proposal Course in Health Sciences.
