MCOM 436 - Directing for Video and Film Provides practice in the planning, casting, rehearsing and producing of a television program from the perspective of the director. Attention is given to editing and advanced production techniques as well as the aesthetic and persuasive capabilities of the medium.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisites: ENGL 101 and 203 and SPCM 101 and MCOM 151 or equivalents; an advanced composition course; MCOM 221 and 331 and 334; at least one of the following: MCOM 210 or 330 or 341 or 371
