SOCW 484 - Social Work and Mental Health

This course reviews social work practices to support mental health and address mental illness. By describing selected behavioral, emotional, and intellectual disorders over the lifespan along with the bio-psychosocial interventions that appear to be effective, students will begin to critically examine pressing mental health concerns confronted by social work practitioners.
