CSC 524 - DIGITAL ELECTRONICS & MICROPROCESSORS 3 cr hrs
Description This course encompasses an introduction to logic circuits and their application to interfacing microcomputers with laboratory work, fabricating circuits and their controlling software. Emphasis is placed on interfacing microcomputers to A/D converters using the serial and parallel ports. Architecture of the PC is also covered.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisites: PHYS 113 - Introduction to Physics II or PHYS 213 - University Physics II, and CSC 150 - Computer Science I, or permission of the instructor.
