ELED 757 - ASSESSMENT, DIAGNOSIS, AND INTERVENTIONS FOR EFFECTIVE READING INSTRUCTION


3 cr hrs

Description Advanced study of the tools and practices used in assessment, diagnosis, and evaluation of reading instruction.  In this course, students learn how to use individual and group standardized and informal assessments to plan, evaluate, and revise instruction in order to meet the needs of all students - including those at different developmental stages and those from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Prerequisite: ELED 450/550 - Elementary Level Reading Methods.
