Description This course surveys the field of elder law. After introducing the aging process and an elder law practice with special attention to recurring ethical issues when a client has diminished capacity, the course turns to age discrimination, surrogate decision-making, sources of income in older age, Medicare, Medicaid, and death and dying issues.
