LAW 841 - BUSINESS PLANNING


1-4 cr hrs

Description A skills oriented course involving common business situtations as they develop through stages, such as formation of a partnership or corporation, issuance of debt or stock (state and SEC related practices), and other transactions. Business law and tax issues are analyzed and resolved in formulating a coordinated business plan.Documents needed to effectuate the changes are drafted and analyzed. Small group techniques are used when- ever possible to increase student involvement. Current developments in business law are explored.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Prerequisites:Business Associations and Federal Income Tax.
