CSC 471 - Numerical Analysis I An introduction to numerical methods. Includes elementary discussion of errors, polynomial interpolation, quadrature, linear systems of equations, solution of nonlinear equations, and numerical differentiation. The algorithmic approach and the efficient use of the computer will be emphasized.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisite:MATH 125 and CSC 150 or consent of instructor.
