MUS 346 - Vocal Literature and Techniques for the Instrumental Ed Major A general survey of vocal techniques, voice classifications, and public school vocal solo literature designed specifically for the instrumental education major. The course will focus on instruction in the teaching of voice through a systematic study of vocal physiology and pedagogical methods. Additionally, the student will explore what constitutes appropriate vocal literature selection for young singers and what resources are available to the vocal music teacher.
