DCOM 728 - CENTRAL AUDITORY NEUROPHYSIOLOGY AND ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY 3 cr
Description This course consists of the detailed study of the structure and function of the central auditory nervous system (CANS). Special emphasis will be placed on the neurophysiologic bases of speech perception signal averaging theory, and the utility of auditory event related potentials in the assessment of functional integrity of the CANS from auditory nerve to cortex.
