MATH 735 - MATHEMATICAL MODELING

Description Formulation of models for situations in the social, economic, and physical sciences, dimensional analysis, the Buckingham Pi Theorem, scaling, curve fitting, testing hypothesis and predictions.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Prerequisites: MATH 225 - Calculus III, MATH 412 - Linear Algebra, MATH 321 - Differential Equations, STAT 281 - Introduction to Statistics, or permission of the instructor.
