Description Incorporate developmental neuroscience, epigenetics, ACE, and NEAR Science from ACE Interface. Learn the biological, psychological, and social effects of trauma exposure to develop skills in building therapeutic relationships and creating safe environments to promote healing. Analyze clinical counseling strategies for clients that have co-occurring mental health conditions, substance use disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders. Learn to assess the risk levels of suicide, environments that provide ongoing support and safety, and address the aftermath of suicide.
