NURS 841 - Applied Evidence-Based Practice and Population Health Concepts

Description This course will focus on the principles of public and community health to improve health outcomes aimed at a systems level approach. The student will evaluate care delivery models and strategies using evidence-based practice principles to address gaps in care across vulnerable populations and rural and underserved communities. The student will be challenged with establishing a vision of care for populations and healthcare systems utilizing knowledge of the healthcare environment and leadership and social/change theory.
