Description Investigation of methods and purposes of playscript analysis and dramaturgical practices as a preparation for theatrical production; detailed reading of scripts to discover given circumstances, patterns of action, verbal and theatrical imagery, aesthetics, and structural organization; historical research methodology surrounding the playscript, including socio-political contexts, and its relevance to contemporary theatre practices; synthesis of varying research into production concepts.
