LAW 871 - Reproduction and the Law 3 cr
Description This discussion-based seminar covers the constitutional rights to reproduce and not to reproduce, as well as the family law implications of assisted reproductive technologies. Topics include, but are not limited to, contraception, abortion, surrogacy contracts, the rights of various potential parents, the rights of embryos and/or children created through reproductive technologies, and the regulatory roles played by courts and various government actors. Students must complete a substantial original writing project for this class.
