GER 435 - German Cultural History (C) This class focuses on the study of different aspects of German culture and civilization, such as historical trends, architecture, art, literature, philosophy, innovation, politics, and the cultural legacy of German-speaking countries. Students will investigate the many cultural developments that have forged present-day Germany by conducting extensive, independent research and reporting their findings in presentations, projects, and papers. Students also practice German language skills, hone their intercultural competency, enhance communicative skills, and make interdisciplinary connections.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: GER 202
