ENGL 781 - Seminar: Writing the Novel

Description A professional workshop for advanced novel writers. Discussions may also cover writerly craft and technique, the state of contemporary novel writing, as well as issues relating to the professional writing life. Students may be asked to read a selection of contemporary novels, as well as supplemental essays and books on craft, technique, and/or theory. May be repeated for credit.
