PAST 763 - Internal Medicine Clinical Rotation

Description The internal medicine rotation is designed to allow physician assistant students to become part of an internal medicine setting caring for adult and geriatric patients. Students will perform history and physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, and present their data to clinical faculty with proposed differential diagnoses, final diagnosis, and treatment plans. The student will gain in-depth knowledge regarding a variety of acute and chronic problems as well as preventive medicine measures.
