PHTH 736 - Cardiovascular/ Pulmonary Physical Therapy 4-5 cr
Description This physical therapy course builds upon knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, and differential diagnosis to develop examination skills, clinical reasoning, evaluation competencies, evidence-based interventions, and goal-directed plans of care with emphasis on cardiovascular and pulmonary health.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre-requisite: Registered in Professional Physical Therapy Curriculum
Notes Emphasis will be placed on physiologic response to exercise, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation and health promotion and wellness in the areas of cardiovascular pulmonary physical therapy.
Change to variable credit hours effective 8/22.
