Description This course surveys debtor-creditor law through problems and strategy. It examines general legal principles, the forms of relief offered by the Bankruptcy Code, and the options available to debtors (both corporate and individual) and their creditors. Students acquire an understanding of substantive legal rules, as well as the structure of the bankruptcy system and its policy goals.
