STAT 281 - Introduction to Statistics (C) [SGR #5, HSDC]


A study of descriptive statistics including graphs, measures of central tendency and variability and an introduction to probability theory, sampling and techniques of statistical inference with an emphasis on statistical applications.

This course meets System General Education Requirement: SGR #5  
This course qualifies for High School Dual Credit: HSDC  

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Course prerequisite: One MATH course (102, MATH 103  , MATH 104  , MATH 114  , MATH 115  , MATH 120  , MATH 121  , or MATH 123  ) or appropriate placement based on standardized testing.
