ANTH 310 - Introduction to Forensic Anthropology This course focuses on the physical remains of human beings in medico-legal contexts. Students will learn how to identify all parts of the human skeleton, assess human remains to estimate or determine age, sex, stature, and investigate how disease, trauma, and behavioral patterns can leave identifying markers on bones. Discussion topics include recent application of forensic anthropology in specific investigative cases, including international human rights work.
