ENGL 783 - Seminar: Writing Poetry

Description A professional workshop for advanced poets. Discussions may also cover contemporary poets, poetic craft, the state of contemporary poetry, as well as issues relating to the professional writing life. Students may be asked to read contemporary volumes of poetry, as well as supplemental essays and books on craft, technique, and/or poetics. May be repeated for credit.
