NURS 813 - Scholarly Writing and Communication

Description This course will focus on writing skills for communicating within the healthcare industry, to include communication with patients, regulatory bodies, healthcare providers, granting agencies and other stakeholders inside and outside healthcare. Students will explore manuscript creation and collaboration as well as writing for social media and journalistic press. It will prepare graduates to be effective communicators for clinical nursing practice across the healthcare system and to effectively represent the nursing/patient care perspective with interprofessional partners.
