NURS 863 - Leadership Development in Healthcare Business

Description This course will prepare the nurse leader to engage with healthcare business. Topics include employment management, promotion of healthful work environments and ergonomically sound workplaces, and the management of emergency preparedness plans, employee recruitment, compensation, conflict management and retention strategies. Additionally, DNP students will engage with interpreting financial statements, manage finances and financial resources and ensure the accuracy of reimbursement mechanisms in healthcare.
