Description This course focuses on theoretical underpinnings of the advanced practice role, including nursing as a scientific discipline and humanistic principles of advanced practice nursing.  it includes the science, history, core values, interprofessional collaboration, ethical decision-making, identity and clinical judgment of nursing. Students apply learning related to nursing perspectives to innovate, inform, and transform person-centered care.
