Description This course will cover U.S. federal and state law that govern data privacy and cybersecurity and will provide highlights of foreign laws like the EU General Data Protection Regulation, as well as Canadian data protection requirements. The importance of domestic, international, and foreign national data privacy and security laws is increasingly important for everyone to understand, as individuals, small and large companies, government agencies, attorneys, judges, legislators, and more.
