SUST 580 - Sustainability in Malta

Description This course examines the interacting systems of the islands of Malta through the lens of the three pillars of sustainability (Environment, Economy, Society). Comparisons are also made with nearby Sicily with an emphasis on systems thinking and the challenges of isolated environments. Travel to Malta and Sicily are required as a part of this faculty led program.
