ANTH 525 - INTRODUCTION TO GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Description This course is designed to provide students with a basic introduction to theory, principles, and practical applications of land-based studies. The course will include GIS technology applications through land-based sciences, natural management, rural and urban planning, and environmental assessment. Laboratory exercise to include use of both raster- and vector-based GIS systems.
