CPHD 720 - FOUNDATIONS I

Description This first semester course is designed to provide beginning graduate students from diverse disciplines a basic foundation in biochemistry, cell structure and function, molecular biology, microbiology and other areas relevant to Basic Biomedical Sciences. Students should be able to use knowledge gained in this course in more advanced courses in their area of specialization. The course is designed to be interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary in nature.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Prerequisites: Admission to the Basic Biomedical Sciences Graduate Training Program or Consent of Instructor.
