PHTH 724 - CLINICAL EDUCATION I 6credit hour(s)
Description This course is a clinical practicum learning-experience that takes place in a community-based physical therapy setting over a period of six consecutive weeks, after completion of the first year of coursework. The student attends the clinic setting each day for a full workday. While in the clinic setting, the student practices physical therapy professional practice, patient/client management, and practice management. The clinical instructor provides opportunities for the student to observe and implement physical-therapy standards of practice.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Pre - requisite: Registered in Professional Physical Therapy Curriculum
