Description This course is designed to educate the physical therapy student in the basic business and management concepts necessary to thrive in today’s healthcare landscape. Students will learn about physical therapy as a healthcare business, general business principles, finance, business planning, productivity, reimbursement, marketing, human resources, leadership, dealing with change, and corporate compliance. The course focuses on developing skills to work in medically underserved areas.
