PHTH 748 - PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY

Description The emphasis of this course will be on the acquisition of knowledge for the role of a pediatric physical therapist in a school system, medical based facility and independent practice. Anatomical, developmental and psychosocial sequences will be examined in order to provide the base for normal growth and development from birth-21 years. Clinical and therapeutic knowledge will be presented in order to foster examination, evaluation and treatment skills of the students with this unique population.
