PHYS 581 - MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS I (C)

Description The first of two-semester sequence covering mathematical methods essential to the study of physics.  The topics include differential and integral Vector Calculus, theory and applications of complex variables, ordinary differential equations and applications of series and transform methods in their solutions.

Prerequisites and Corequisites
Course prerequisites: PHYS 431 and MATH 321 or consent of instructor.
