PHYS 783 - QUANTUM FIELD THEORY (C) 3credit hour(s)
Description This course is the study of relativistic quantum field theory and its application to the standard model. The course covers quantization of relavistic fields; perturbation theory and Feynman diagram; S-matrix; introduction to gauge theories and the standard model; and other topics of interest.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Prerequisite: PHYS 771 or equivalent.
