SOCW 340 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment I The first course in a two-semester course sequence that focuses on knowledge of individuals as they develop over the life span, and knowledge of biological, social, psychological, and cultural systems as they impact on human behavior. The focus of this course is on knowledge and theory needed by social workers as they conduct generalist social work practice with individuals and families.
Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisites: SOCW 200 and 210
