ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE IN GENERAL STUDIES
The primary goal of offering an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies by distance is to provide educational access to time and place-bound individuals across the state of South Dakota. Another purpose is to provide the first two years and all general education requirements, enabling students to matriculate to any of the state institutions for a four-year degree program. The Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies is awarded through the College of Arts & Sciences.
INTERDISCIPLINARY MINORS
Certain interdisciplinary minors are also available. These include American Indian Studies, Archaeology, Civic Leadership Studies, Classical Humanities, Geography, Gerontology, International Studies, Latin, Religious Studies, and Women’s Studies.
