The School of Health Sciences’ programs at USD have a solid educational base, strong practical clinical training, and are taught with an interprofessional perspective. They are delivered with the personal attention that is characteristic of the University. In many of our programs, students have opportunities for training in urban and rural settings throughout the United States and world. An education at the University of South Dakota is one of the most affordable in the nation.

The School of Health Sciences at the University of South Dakota offers ten graduate degrees and four certificat programs (Addiction Counseling and Prevention, Dental Hygiene, Health Sciences Major, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Ph.D. in Health Sciences, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, and Social Work) partnering with the Sanford School of Medicine within the Division of Health Affairs.
