The Health Sciences programs at USD have a solid educational base, strong practical clinical training, and are taught with an interdisciplinary flavor. The School of Health Sciences at The University of South Dakota consists of nine health programs ((Alcohol and Drug Studies, Clinical Laboratory Science, Dental Hygiene, Health Sciences Major, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies and Social Work) partnering with the Sanford School of Medicine within the Division of Health Affairs.
