Plan A (thesis): Total 30 credit hours

- Electives 9 credit hours
- Nondepartmental electives 6 credit hours
- Thesis 6 credit hours
Note:
Students must submit two permanent copies of their thesis to the Graduate School and one copy to the department. An oral examination is required of all Plan A students. Plan B (non-thesis): Total 32 credit hours

- Electives 15 credit hours
- Nondepartmental electives 8 credit hours
Written and oral examinations are required of all Plan B students. Required Core: Total 9 credit hours
Thesis (Plan A only)
- Graduate transfer credits are limited to nine hours and must receive approval from the department prior to graduation. |
